Why not join Evergreens Miniature Railway? Everyone is welcome, Membership is £40 per year. When you join family members can become associate members for an additional £2. Junior membership (14 to 18 years) is £20.
All members can participate in all aspects of Open Days or other events and Junior Members are welcome and encouraged to experience all that they can, including learning about engineering and other skills from the the more experienced members. They can experience driving engines, help with steam up sessions, track maintenance, running the Station alongside the Station Master, signalling, steam and electric engine mechanics, maintenance and running. Also catering, admin, traffic control, gardening and ground/ railway maintenance. It is a great and safe learning environment.
