An eventful day at Evergreens today. Having spent the last few weeks cutting back hedgerows, it’s now time to dispose of the cuttings. Nice and warm by the bonfire.
Our platform extension on the 7.25 inch ground level track is progressing. Weather permitting.
The members building the water tower for steam locos beside the 5in raised track completed the plumbing on Saturday and today the main casing had its painting completed. Just a roof to make now. No more carrying watering cans from the nearest water supply. Easier and safer.
We had a members loco running today giving a couple of guests a taste of what we provide.
